February 2019 

Dr. Bortner and Arit Das presented at the 2019 Adhesion Society Annual Meeting in Hilton Head, NC.  Dr. Bortner also co-chaired a symposium on Adhesion Challenges in Additive Manufacturing, and was elected vice-chair of the Structural Division of the Society.​

February 2019 

Arit Das received an award to present his research at the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Thermoset Resin Formulators Association(TRFA) in Charleston, South Carolina.  The award includes complimentary registration and travel expenses to attend the meeting where he will present work involving characterizing friction during composite forming process.​

Congrats to all the authors, including Cailean Pritchard and  Dr. Bortner on their recently published article in Reaction Chemistry & Engineering: "Continuous flow synthesis of a pharmaceutical intermediate: a computational fluid dynamics approach."​

New article:  "In-Situ Monitoring of Polymer Flow Temperature and Pressure in Extrusion Based Additive Manufacturing"  ​is now available in Additive Manufacturing.  Congrats to all the authors, including first author David Anderegg, Jake Fallon, Eric Gilmer, and Dr. Bortner!
